The BLADE 180 is the awning reimagined — rugged, fast to deploy, and built to handle the toughest environments. With a completely freestanding design and a wide 180° span, it provides 7.2m² of shade without relying on ropes or poles, even in gusts up to 45km/h.
Engineered with a 6061‑T6 marine-grade aluminium frame, proprietary all-weather canvas, and a multi-colour LED light strip (white, orange, and red), the BLADE 180 is ready for sun, wind, and late nights at camp. The included mounting bracket system ensures fast, secure installation to most common roof rack setups.
And when it’s time to anchor down, the included Tiegear BLADE PACK gives you all the hardware you need — stored in a dedicated Peg bag and built to work seamlessly with the BLADE system.

With a 100% freestanding design, you have all the strength and coverage without poles and ropes getting into the way. it is wind tested to 45km/h, due to the high-quality materials and manufacturing, BLADE is wind gust tested, without the need for ropes or poles.
WHAT ROOF RACKS DOES IT MOUNT TO?
Designed for 3/4 and short roof racks, only requiring a minimum length of 1.4m.
Easy to install on most roof rack models, including Yakima, Rhino-Rack, Thule, Pro Rack, Rola, and Global T C-channel bars. It is also compatible with Yakima LockNLoad, Rhino-Rack Pioneer, Rola Titan, and Kings Platform Racks.

We use premium materials including fade-resistant polyester and corrosion resistant marine-grade aluminium. These are small batch tested and Aussie made so you know the quality is rock solid.
