Our recent Tiegear shoot with filming crew Stepney Studios was one of our most action packed yet! With the rigs loaded up and the camera gear packed, the team headed off to capture the spirit and adventure of South Australia’s best off-road playground, Loveday 4x4 Adventure Park. Situated along the tranquil banks of the River Murray, this haven for four wheel drive enthusiasts offers epic 4x4 tracks to explore, trophy truck experiences, buggy hot laps and kids rally driving. It’s the kind of place where dust is guaranteed, the terrain puts up a challenge and the adrenaline is pumping. That’s exactly why we chose it! We wanted to put our Haulout Collection to the test in real world conditions and show everyone what it’s made for, strapping fast, hauling hard and surviving the rough stuff! Not only did we get some epic content, Haulout truly lived up to our expectations.
Up first, we ventured out to tackle the parks sprawling 4x4 tracks in the Tiegear Jeep, followed closely behind with the camera crew. We wanted to show the Flexstrap in action, highlighting how the Internal Tensioning System of the strap absorbs shocks and movement to keep your load from shifting. With this in mind behind the wheel of the Jeep, Tiegear founder Peter hit them as hard as he could. Tackling steep climbs, big drops and fast bends, he pushed the Jeep and the Flexstrap to their limits. Every jolt and pump challenged the strap, but it held the load rock solid. It was clear, Flexstrap is engineered to withstand the toughest off road punishments.
Worn out from the thrill and coated head to toe in dust, we called it a day and retreated to our campsite for the afternoon. The peaceful river spot was not only the perfect spot to unwind, but also an ideal setting to film some content of our new Shield caravan privacy screen. As day progressed into night, the sunset reflected off the water beautifully, casting golden hues over camp and creating a calm, cinematic atmosphere that brought the whole shoot to life. As the filming wrapped up, the crew gathered around to cook wood-fired pizzas for dinner, with our Tiegear Glow ropes lighting up camp and keeping the good vibes rolling well into the night.
On the final day of the shoot, things cranked up another notch, turning an already wild adventure into something truly unforgettable. Thanks to Mount Moriac Hotel and the generous owners of Loveday, we were lucky enough to experience a ride in their Can-am Maverick R Buggy. This wasn’t just your average ride, the Maverick is a beast built for speed and agility and it didn't hold back. Jumping into the passenger seat, Tonia held on tight as it flew around the track at 140km/h speeds and launched over jumps. It was the kind of adrenaline pumping, heart-racing experience that perfectly summed up the spirit of the entire shoot, raw, real, and ridiculously fun. The perfect sendoff to a weekend of pushing limits and proving what Tiegear is built for. Performance when it counts, no matter how wild the ride gets.
