CHARRED BROCCOLI WITH CHILLI CRISP

Who knew broccoli could taste this good! When drizzled in chilli, charred over the coals and served with walnuts it's smoky, crunchy and packed with flavour. Best enjoyed with the company of your favourite camp crew!⁠

CHARRED BROCCOLI WITH CHILLI CRISP RECIPE

Ingredients:

  • 2 heads broccoli (cut into big steaks)
  • 2 tbsp UmamiPapi chilli crisp
  • 2 tbsp Bippi chilli honey
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • Salt & pepper
  • Large handful of walnuts (chopped and toasted)

Method:

  • Mix chilli crisp, garlic, honey, lemon juice, olive oil, salt & pepper over broccoli steaks in a large bowl.
  • Grill over coals until charred and tender, using a press to flatten every so often.
  • Toast walnuts over flame.
  • Plate broccoli on board, drizzle with more honey, chilli crisp, lemon, olive oil & scatter walnuts.
